Ingredients for Sooji Biscuit

Ingredients:
(all ingredients should be at room temperature)
1kg All-purpose flour, sifted
-contributes to strength and structure of biscuit

454g Ghee

-contributes to flavour and structure of biscuit

2 tbsp Grated Almonds

-contributes to flavour and crunchiness biscuit


454g Caster Sugar

-provide sweetness
-increase biscuit volume
-improve colour

1 small eggs

- Contributes to the rich, yellow colour of biscuit
- Contributes to strength and structure of biscuit
- Increase leavening as their liquid turns to steam when heated

1 tsp Baking powder & Bicarbonate Soda

1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence

-contributes to flavour, its natural flavouring extracted from cured,full grown unripe fruit of Vanilla panifolia

1/2 tsp Salt

-contributes to flavour
